New Covenant School
Statements of Policy
1) I understand and accept that it is the policy of New Covenant School NOT to transfer student records to another educational agency until such time as the student's family's accounts with New Covenant School are clear of all monies owed, books and textbooks are returned, and equipment (i.e. lab supplies, audio-visual materials, etc.) is returned.
2) I understand and accept that it is the policy of New Covenant School that, whether my family and I are Christians OR NOT, we must demonstrate Christian standards of behavior as defined by the elders of Church on the Rock Melbourne during all school functions (i.e. small and large group functions, meetings, school activities, tutoring sessions, times of use of buildings and grounds, etc.) and during any public or private events during which we represent or can be seen to represent by the displaying of school emblems New Covenant School.
3) I understand that it is the policy of New Covenant School that all disputes with NCS that cannot be settled by the procedures described in the Parent/Teacher Manual will be settled through the use of the Christian mediation and arbitration process and WILL NOT be handled through lawsuits. I agree to use the Christian mediation and arbitration process, rather than resort to lawsuits, for any disputes with New Covenant School that cannot be settled by the procedures described in the Parent/Teacher Manual and further agree to abide by decisions reached during this process. This policy is scripturally based on I Corinthians 6:1-8, Matthew 5:23-24, and Matthew 18:15-20.
4) Should one or both parents/guardians who have any custody of the child being enrolled refuse to sign any of the above statements, New Covenant School retains the right to refuse enrollment of the child as a student at NCS.
