New Covenant School Financial Facts and Policies
Section 1: Account Fees
1) Current and New Students in Grades K-12 before May 3, 2016:
2) Current Students in Grades K-12: After May 3, 2016 but before noon on June 24, 2016:
3) Current Students in Grades K-12: After June 24, 2016 but before noon on July 31, 2016:
4) New Students in Grades K-12: after May 3, 2016
Monthly tuition is $30 for grades K-5.
Monthly tuition is $63 for grades 6-12.
Tuition is due on the first of the month along with monthly report.
Section 2: Monthly Report Late Fees
The Monthly Report late fee schedule is below:
Monthly reports are due the 1st of the month and the staff may choose to grant you grace through the 7th of the month.
Monthly reports turned in after the 1st of the month and through the 10th of the month have a $10 per report per student late fee added to the account.
Monthly reports submitted from the 11th of the month through the 19th of the month have a $40 per report per student late fee added to the account.
Monthly reports turned in after the 19th of the month will require the family to re-register and file new paperwork and new registration fees.
Section 3: Other Late Fees
Any registration papers missing from the Registration Application Packet on October 1st will be charged $10 per page per month to the account.
Section 4: Other Fines & Fees
Missing your monthly I&E meeting results in a $25 fine.
Missing mandatory attendance meetings results in a $50 fine.
Non-participation fees for School Fairs are a $40 fine.
Once you have signed up for an optional meeting, event, or field trip, you are responsible for the resulting financial obligation for fees, tickets, etc, even if you do not attend for any reason.
Section 5: Other Policies
We cannot return your students' tests scores until your account is up to date with no outstanding balance. We will not transfer records or give copies of medical records if your account is not up to date. Account up to date means that all fees and tuition have been paid and all books returned. .
Deadlines will only be extended in the following cases:
a) Member of the immediate family is hospitalized at deadline or during the week prior to the deadline. In this event, please leave a message on the school answering machine before the deadline passes or in writing afterwards.
b) Both parents are seriously ill. Please leave a message on the school answering machine before the deadline passes or in writing afterwards.
c) Death in the immediate family and the following extended family members: grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins (in relationship to either parent or student.) In this event, please leave a message on the school answering machine prior to the deadline or in writing afterwards.
d) One parent seriously ill while other parent out of the county on business. Please leave a message on the school answering machine before the deadline or in writing afterwards.
Please do NOT ask for special exemptions based on your busy schedule, as this is unfair to other parents. All of us in home education have busy schedules.
