  • All class fees for students enrolled in the Thursday Site Classes is included in their Thursday Site Class Tuition.

Dress Code

  • Students should wear clothing that allows them to move freely and to get messy (for some modules).  No shorts. No sleeveless shirts. No flip-flops.  
  • Also, boys must wear long pants to all classes; girls must wear long pants or a long skirt at all classes.  
  • All shirts must be long enough to cover the tops of pants/skirts when the student's arms are fully extended above the head.

Other information

  • This course is required by the State of Florida before entry into high school.

  • This course will fulfill the Florida required course in career exploration.

  • Students need to be able to read well, be prepared to write, and be prepared to discuss things in class.

  • Some field trips possible for which parent transportation would be needed. These would probably not be on Thursdays.

  • Guest speakers also.

  • The purpose of the course is to make students aware of the variety and scope of careers available to them, so they can make wise choices in regard to courses in high school.

  • Parents should allow 1-2 hours of time at home to complete homework.
