Written contests are provided in almost all academic areas. The schedule for these is on the school website calendar, usually listed in March. These are given over a three day period. Parents proctor their own children. A Director of Contests oversees the administration and rules, and (s)he grades the submissions.
Medallions are presented to winners at the annual Awards Night. You decide how to schedule the individual tests during the designated time period. Some parents do all the tests in one day. Others split the tests over two or more days. Some students take all the tests for their grade level. Others may take only one or some other number. This is a parental decision.
Parents must not assist students in any way not specified on the rules.
